After expanding its retail space, gourmet cafe and coffeehouse Bakers’ Best experienced increased demand for its catering services. To meet the growing needs, owner Michael Baker chose Kaplan Construction to build a new commercial kitchen with administrative offices in a nearby warehouse, replacing their existing cramped and inefficient basement location. The 10,000 SF facility includes a new mechanical and electrical infrastructure needed to support extensive professional kitchen equipment, as well as a contemporary open office area with glass walls showcasing the catering operations for Bakers’ Best clients.
