Cathy Kaplan co-founded Kaplan Construction with her husband Ken in 1976. With more than 40 years of experience as a manager and administrator, she serves as overseer and advisor to the current management team, using her expert communication skills to facilitate employee and client relationships.
A founding member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) Massachusetts Workers’ Compensation Self Insurance Group (SIG), Cathy served in leadership positions since its inception in 1993. In addition, she is a former member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Boston (formally NEWiRE), and previously served on the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Member Appeals Committee.
An alumnus of Cornell University, Cathy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. She also attended Harvard School of Public Health, where she earned a Master of Science degree in Health Policy and Management.
