Ken Kaplan founded Kaplan Construction in 1976, and steadily grew the firm over the past four decades. At his core, Ken is passionate about building. His client-focused approach and personal investment in every project helped Kaplan earn its outstanding reputation within the industry for high-quality, cost-effective construction services.
In his role as Chairman of the Board, Ken provides executive leadership for the company by working closely with the President and COO to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. As a strategic partner, he provides industry-specific advice and knowledge and offers solutions to business challenges.
Ken has served on the Town of Brookline’s building commission for more than a decade. He also participated on the Associated Builders and Contractors’ (ABC) board of directors for over ten years.
Ken earned his Bachelor of Arts in economic geography from Syracuse University, and studied at the Boston Architectural College.
