When Radiology Associates of Norwood, Inc. (RANI) decided to renovate its offices inside Norwood Hospital, Kaplan was called in for the job because of its experience working in occupied facilities. Kaplan was an integral partner beginning with the early phases of the project – providing preconstruction budgeting, phasing, and scheduling details. During the renovation, Kaplan ensured the private imaging practice remained operational. But most importantly, the Kaplan team earned the trust and praise of the medical staff for paying sharp attention to temperature levels and construction noise in the occupied space. The renovated RANI offices, focused on women’s health and radiology, now includes state-of-the-art digital tomography, and is the first facility to provide the service in the Norwood area.
