A Fortune 500 company, UHS is one of the largest and most respected hospital management companies in the nation and the largest facilities-based behavioral health provider in the country. Kaplan has completed the construction of six behavioral health facilities throughout New England for UHS. As part of a design-build delivery method in partnership with GMI Architects, Kaplan completed renovations on a variety of facilities providing psychiatric treatment for adolescents and adults, including outpatient, residential, acute care, and ECT therapy. Extensive anti-ligature measures were incorporated into each project to meet strict UHS standards and ensure patient safety.
