Project Manager

Madeline Hosie is a project manager with a strong foundation in technically complex, high-performance environments. Maddy was drawn to construction through her interest in architecture and a desire for a career that blends creativity with practicality. While earning her degree, she was introduced to the general contracting side of the industry and quickly discovered how much she enjoyed being a tangible part of the building process.

As project manager, Maddy is responsible for overseeing project planning and execution, including budgeting, scheduling, materials procurement, and logistical planning. She coordinates personnel and serves as a key liaison among clients, design teams, and subcontractors, supporting projects from preconstruction through completion.

Prior to joining Kaplan, Maddy worked at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, where she worked on two 24 MW data center projects in Manassas, Va., serving as a key member of the MEP team on QTS MAN1-DC2 and QTS MAN1-DC6. In that role, she oversaw mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection scopes totaling more than $66 million. Earlier in her career, she contributed to the $26 million design-build renovation of Chase Hall Annex C at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn.

Maddy earned a Bachelor of Science in architecture from the University of Maryland, College Park in College Park, Md.
