Project Manager

As project manager, Becky Yang oversees construction efforts to ensure projects are built safely in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Becky interfaces with clients, architects, and subcontractors with tact and professionalism to foster collaboration across the entire project team.

Becky earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering with minors in engineering management and environmental engineering from Cornell University. During her time there she participated in the Cornell Local Roads Program as a research assistant and was recognized as a Cornell Tradition Fellow for her achievements in service and academia. Becky also received her Master’s degree in construction engineering management with a minor in statistics from Oregon State University.

Prior to joining Kaplan, Becky worked for Skanska as a project engineer and worked on large scale projects like the new MOD2 cleanroom for Intel and the Hilton Porter Hotel in Portland, Ore. Becky has also donated her time to the community as a high school mentor and as an ambassador for the Cornell Alumni Ambassador Network. She is a Certified Passive House Builder (CPHB) and is OSHA certified.
