Charlie Giuliotti’s passion for construction began with a desire to stay active, work with his hands, and be part of a dynamic and creative industry. That interest, combined with his caring personality and genuine desire to do what is best for others, led him toward a career in construction safety.

Among Charlie’s responsibilities as Kaplan’s safety manager are developing and maintaining Kaplan’s environmental health and safety program, ensuring safety compliance in the field, and conducting employee training. Charlie’s expertise includes behavior-based safety, hazard identification, and fostering strong communication with field teams to promote safe and efficient operations. He is proficient in construction management tools including Procore and Veddit, which support his work in documentation and project coordination.

Charlie previously worked as an onsite safety superintendent at DC Bean & Associates Construction Company in Charlestown, Mass. In this role, he developed and enforced site-specific safety procedures, conducted inspections, and supported incident investigations and corrective actions. He also assisted with subcontractor compliance on prominent institutional and life science projects for clients including MIT, Thermo Fisher Scientific, McLean Hospital, Moderna Therapeutics, and Sanofi.

Charlie holds OSHA 30-Hour, HAZWOPER 40-Hour, and NFPA 241 certifications, is a Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP), and earned a Bachelor of Science in safety and occupational health and applied sciences from Keene State College in Keene, NH.
