Senior Project Manager

Rachael Montosi is a senior project manager with 18 years of experience in the construction industry. She enhances Kaplan’s management team with her experience and knack for value engineering, tight budget control, and coordination of materials and schedules. Rachael is known in the office and to her clients as a meticulous and detail-driven team member. She has demonstrated success in these areas on numerous residential complexes and renovations in the higher-education and childcare sector in the City of Boston. Her clients include Equity Residential, Bright Horizons, Horizons for Homeless Children, Northeastern University, Boston University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

In addition to developing and overseeing proposals, cost estimates, and schedules, Rachael is responsible for phasing and logistics plans; appropriating materials and personnel; conducting contract negotiations; and working closely with all project stakeholders to ensure the success of her projects. As Kaplan’s most senior project manager, Rachael is a thought leader in many of the company’s technology-driven processes.

Rachael earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. In 2019, Rachael was named one of Constructech Magazine’s Women in Construction, a list that honors professionals who continually push the standards in the male-dominated industry.
