John Chereski, LEED AP has nearly three decades of experience developing construction estimates and coordinating preconstruction activities. Intensely committed to meeting his clients’ budget goals, John conducts cost analyses and value engineering throughout projects’ conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documentation phases. He also evaluates the availability of material and labor in relation to project schedules; assesses the constructability of architectural and engineering plans; and reviews and analyzes subcontractor proposals.
John joined Kaplan Construction in 1998, and his integrated and thorough approach to budgeting has helped him build long-term relationships with clients who know John has their best interest in mind. He takes the time to get to know his clients, understand their objectives, and work with them to make budgetary decisions, revising the pricing and approach if needed to ensure cost-effective results.
He attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in construction management.
