BOSTON – March 4, 2026 – Kaplan Construction, a WBE general contractor and construction management firm providing comprehensive building programs across Greater Boston, announced today the hiring of Madeline Hosie as project manager.

Madeline joins Kaplan with five years of experience managing large-scale, technically complex projects at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, where she advanced from project engineer to assistant project manager and ultimately project manager. Most recently, she worked on two 24 MW data center projects in Manassas, Va., serving as a key team member on QTS MAN1-DC2 and QTS MAN1-DC6, where she oversaw mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection scopes totaling more than $66 million. Earlier in her career, she contributed to the $26 million design-build renovation of Chase Hall Annex C at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn.

  • Maddy brings valuable experience managing high-profile and mission-critical projects where precision and coordination are vital. As she begins work with one of our valued nonprofit clients, her technical expertise and collaborative approach will translate seamlessly and support a successful outcome.

As project manager at Kaplan, Madeline will oversee project planning and execution, including budgeting, scheduling, materials procurement, and logistical planning. She will also coordinate personnel and serve as a key liaison among clients, design teams, and subcontractors.

Madeline earned a Bachelor of Science in architecture from the University of Maryland, College Park. Drawn to a field that blends creativity with practicality, she discovered her passion for construction after being introduced to the general contracting side of the industry. She quickly recognized the value of working directly with field teams and stakeholders to bring projects to life. Madeline’s addition reinforces Kaplan’s continued investment in experienced, technically skilled project leadership.
