BOSTON – November 4, 2024 – Kaplan Construction a WBE general contractor and construction management firm providing comprehensive building programs across Greater Boston, announced it has been named one of the Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts by The Women’s Edge. The honorees were recognized during their annual celebratory breakfast event at Boston Marriott Copley Place on Friday, Nov. 1. Collectively, the 100 organizations honored generated over $124 billion in revenue in 2023, underscoring the significant economic impact of women leaders in the state.
This is the 24th year that The Women’s Edge – a Boston-based nonprofit organization devoted to advancing women in leadership positions — created the list through a nomination process and reviewed both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, and the 12th year that the list was created in collaboration with The Boston Globe. In addition to revenue or operating budget, factors considered in the evaluation included workplace and management diversity, board makeup, and innovative projects. The full list was published in Globe Magazine’s Women & Power issue at bostonglobe.com/magazine on Nov. 1 and in print on Nov. 3.
