Kaplan Construction Welcomes Timothy McCabe as Senior Project Manager

BOSTON – August 14, 2018 – Kaplan Construction, a WBE general contractor and construction management firm providing comprehensive building programs across Greater Boston, is pleased to announce Timothy McCabe has joined the firm as a senior project manager. Tim brings more than 20 years of experience to Kaplan Construction, where he will be responsible for leading project delivery and managing client relationships.

Kaplan’s services include preconstruction, general contracting, construction management, and design/build for a variety of clients, including multi-family, commercial, healthcare, historic rehab, institutional, recreational, and houses of worship. Tim will be taking the lead on all of Kaplan’s healthcare and life science projects from project inception through turnover.

  • Tim brings a proven track record managing large, complex projects while delivering superior client service. His training and experience as an engineer and MEP project manager allow him to bring a unique perspective to any project. We are excited to have him as a part of our team.

Prior to joining Kaplan Construction, Tim was a MEP project manager for Turner Construction Company, where he coordinated and oversaw building mechanical and electrical system installation and start-up for multi-million dollar construction projects. Managing a staff of 10 employees, Tim was responsible for over 300 tradespeople in the field on projects such as the Harvard Science and Engineering Center, 50/60 Binney Street, Vertex Pharmaceutical, among others. Previously, Tim was an applications engineer at Camp Dresser & McKee Engineering and a project engineer at Dynalektrix.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in power plants and facilities engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
